Summary:

This movie is by far one of my biggest inspirations for my film opening as its plot is very similar to what I have in mind (escapism). The protagonist in this film opening leaves her country to move to another place because of a tragedy that happened to her, to find peace and comfort in a completely unfamiliar place. That concept could be applied to my film opening, of course not exactly the same but I will use it as an inspiration. The technical code of static medium wide shots is also one of my favourite aspects of this film as it illustrates the loneliness and distant feeling really well, which I will be implementing into my film opening.
