Audience in Media

  The audience is any group of people who receive a product of the media industry (e.g. advertisements, films, music videos, ...).

They could be grouped together by their similarities such as:

+ Demographic characteristics: age, gender, ethnicity, ...

+ Geographic characteristics: where the target audience lives, might be country or specific areas

+ Personal interests: specific groups of people who enjoy watching late-night TV shows, or love horror movies, ...
